ps4 controller on ppsspp emulator

ppsspp reddit wont let me post idk if this is the next best place. but in may i got ppsspp to play persona 3 portable. went so great and i finished the game but i wanted to play persona 2 after and decided to try and set up my ps4 controller to play it. i got it to work i think through a playstation app and bluetooth. i think it only stopped working when i tried to bring it out of the house. and then the controller became completely incompatible with everything and idk y. does anyone know how to make a ps4 controller work on the psp emulator w out any problems.. i am getting a psp in the future but i still want this to work for now
