Burnout Legends PSP 60fps on PSP-2000 series

Burnout Legends PSP 60fps on PSP-2000 series

I know that the fantastic PPSSPP emulator allows for Burnout Legends to run flawlessly at 60fps instead of 30fps it originally shipped with. Is there any way to get that going on the actual system? I’ve tried a good few times and never got it to work.
