How to repair button contacts?

[Released: 1989] The Game Boy is Nintendo's second handheld system following the Game & Watch series. Despite many other technologically superior handheld consoles introduced during its lifetime, the Game Boy was a tremendous success.

How to repair button contacts?

I repair a bunch of gameboys but one thing I haven’t figured out is how to repair the brass contacts for the buttons when there is excessive corrosion or oxidation that is preventing the buttons from responding. Any fix? (Isopropyl and vinegar have already been applied)
