The Immortal

I've begrudgingly become a huge fan of 'The Immortal' since it has been released on the switch and it's hands down, in my eyes, the greatest game on the NES to stumble across as an adult collector (I had no idea about it until 2 weeks ago). SOLSTICE is has been my #1 title on the NES since its release and I feel like Immortal is an absolute psychotic version of it.
If anyone here has tried to play through this title as a kid, I feel for you.
Two questions... As an Australian, I've never stumbled across this one in the wild to add to the collection. Was it big in the states? Also, it seems an odd choice for Nintendo to port it on switch before SOLSTICE, as the latter is far more friendly. Do you think SOLSTICE will eventually get a release online?
