Using a PC Engine and CD ROM in North America

The CD-ROM² is an add-on attachment for the PC Engine that was released in Japan in 1988 and allows the core versions of the console to play PC Engine games in CD-ROM format in addition to standard HuCards. This made the PC Engine the first video game console to use CD-ROMs as a storage media.

Using a PC Engine and CD ROM in North America

Post by /turboG16 »

I'm looking to get a PC Engine and CD ROM, what's the power situation for North America? I don't want to use the Japanese power supply for safety reasons, is there a power supply from a North American system that's compatible? And would it easier to get and use a PC Engine Duo?
