Any good way to connect the Classic to a CRT?

Any good way to connect the Classic to a CRT?

I know HDMI to Composite adapters are a thing, but I heard it’ll look weird and stretched out? Also need to run it through my VCR to the UHF/VHF hookup because it’s a pretty old set.
