Xstation install but no blue light or power…advice?

Hey!
I botched a 1001 install of my first xstation. I lifted two pads by mistake. However when I booted that one up anyway it went to the menu and the blue light came on and everything.
Regardless I wanted to do it right so I desoldered the qsb and got another 1001 and installed everything…
But now the green light on the PSX turns on, but no blue light on xstation - so no power. Also nothing on the tv - no detection at all from tv to console.
I tried researching but I can’t tell what to test to verify the qsb is getting power? Anyone know? I’m thinking maybe I ruined the qsb during desoldering of the first psx I did.
I did check continuity of all points. Pins don’t look bridged to me.
I’m just surprised the first one I did worked and this one doesn’t….
