Mod using work PC

I was thinking about modding my PSC using my work PC because it’s the only windows based pc I own. I’ve been trying on a MacBook but I’m not getting anywhere, I can’t get the project Eris app to launch. What do you guys think? Would I risk messing up my WFH computer if I used it to mod my classic?
