How to clean dirt and grime from N64 cartridge stickers?

Post by /n64 »

Hey everyone, I just picked up a couple of N64 cartridges and they definitely need some cleaning. The last time I tried to clean a N64 cartridge sticker I used isopropyl alcohol and ended up taking some of the ink out! Now Super Mario 64 is clean but sad and cloudy looking.
I’m hoping to not repeat that disaster. Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean stickers without ruining things? Maybe some water, dish soap, and a q-tip? Thank you!
