How do I remap my controller?

How do I remap my controller?

I'm using a Retrobit controller and though the Classic picked up the controller immediately, the controls are mapped incorrectly.
I remapped the controls in Retroarch and saved the configuration but the controls still aren't right. They work properly in Retroarch but not in Autobleem/Evolution UI.
