PSClassic Project Eris replace internal games not working/restored internal games no longer play.

Recently picked this up to try and mod it with some of my brothers favorites growing up. followed project Eris install tutorials and got it working up and running fine with the internal apps mod. I backed up the internal games which are all secure on my USB. Made a custom list on the desktop app with its own database. But after i tried replacing the internale games using the option on the console all it did was work for 5 minutes, return to the game list and showed all the stock games listed, but no box art and nothing boots?
If anyones excountered this before id appreciate some pointers...
