Lost my old Autobleem flash drive. Do I have to remove the old kernel to use the newest version?

So I stupidly lost my flash drive from when I used Autobleem on this a long time ago, so when I boot up my Classic right now it just goes to the original carousel and games. Do I need to uninstall the current kernel somehow or can I just install the new Autobleem kernel on top of it?
I do have the old lboot file if I need it. I did at least think to back that up.
Bonus question: Does Autobleem support .chd files yet, or are we still stuck with .pbp and .bin/.cue?
