Enduro Racer has a surprisingly high skill ceiling for speed running.

When I first played it many years ago, I just thought it was an easy racing game that was very forgiving. However, I got the urge recently to try to go for some really good times and wow, this game gets a lot harder when you're trying to get your overall time down to the 6 minute mark or even lower on the NA/EU version. Hitting all the jumps consistently is tougher than it looks, and getting out of rhythm can mess up a run fast. Plus, the timing changes once you grab the engine powerup so you have to adjust quickly to that.
Great game for sure.
