Modded psxc just blinks and then shuts off when powered on

Hey guys, I have a PlayStation classic with a usb plugged into a micro usb in the back of the console. Loaded on it was autobleem and retroarch. I had someone doing the modding for me. Anyways it was working great but now I try to turn it on and it just blinks and then shuts off. When I plug the power into the PlayStation without the mod it powers up just fine to the regular program. Anyone know what could be the issue? I have the power plugged directly into the wall. Should I just get a new usb mod?
