WPA Supplicant?!

Trying to figure out how to connect my WIFI Adapter (TP Link TL-WN725N) to my PS Classic. I’m running Project Eris with a 128gb Samsung USB Drive. Everytime I try to go into the network manager, I get the error screen “Cannot connect to wpa supplicantâ€￾. Before I was getting a scanning for networks screen but I created an ssid.cfg with my wifi name on the first line and my wifi password on the second line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking and hoping for an easy fix. Thanks in advance.
