Restore Bleemsync’d PS Classic for modern solution

I’ve got a PS Classic that I haven’t touched since probably a week after the first version of Bleemsync came out…
Can I remove any existing mods from the console, essentially revert it to stock, without having the original kernel backup? So that I can install a modern homebrew solution like Eris or Autobleem?
I’ve since wiped the computer that I backed the original kernel up to, so I no longer have that. But the PSc is still fully functional.
