Anyone using PicorePlayer with Jivelite AND buttons?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Yesterday I set up my Raspi 3 with original touch display: - PicorePlayer - Squeezelight - LMS -Jivelite
Works so far, but the displayed Power off / shutdown button doesn’t work -> Jivelite just restarts. I did not find a software fix for this.
I’m quite a bit experienced with Linux (Debian) for a few years, but frankly never have seen such a confusing documentation spread loose over several websites and forums.
However: I’d like to add a dedicated button to the GPIO pins to start and shut down the Pi. The usual ways by using python seem to be impossible because of the used Pins and Picore restrictions.
Has anyone added physical buttons to this setup? How? I found and tried it by this documentation, but it didn’t work:
https://docs.picoreplayer.org/projects/ ... d-buttons/
Any fix for the software button?
Thanks!
