Is there a guide to troubleshoot physical issues with an RPI board?

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card-sized single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and developing countries.

Is there a guide to troubleshoot physical issues with an RPI board?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I have a Pi 4 which won’t book and I know it’s a physical issue as I have 6 pi’s that work with with same SD card, power cable, with cable etc.
The pi gets power as it shows a red light but never flashes green so I ASSUME it’s something with the card reader.
My issue is that I can’t find any advanced troubleshooting guides online as the majority of rpi issues can be solved by replacing the peripheral components.
I have a rudimentary understanding of electronics and have a basic set of electronics equipment including soldering iron & multimeter. I just need some sort of guide to help identify the root cause etc. any help is greatly appreciated.
