Issues running two simmilar Audio Interfaces on my PI

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hi there, today i have just noticed some wierd behaviour with my Raspberry Pi 4B and my two Behringer UCA222 Interfaces
Just look:

https://reddit.com/link/vtnf9l/video/gv ... a91/player
Has anyone ever seen something like this, i can think of various reason for this problem:
  • Power Supply - The Audio interfaces are directly connected to the PI via USB, the PI is connected with the official 3A Power supply, maybe the raspberry pi USB ports cannot handle the power usage
  • Problems with Pulseaudio - Maybe pulseaudio is having issues correctly registering two devices of the same type
  • USB Issues - As you can see the LEDS on the Audio interfaces are turning on and off all the time, this indicates that the data connection is beeing closed/opened, maybe the Raspberry PI USB cannot run that properly

If you have ever seen something like that or have any ideas in how to slove this feel free to reply down below, thanks!
