Tried Playing Thousand Arms Through RetroArch

I have started up the game two times now and every time when it gets to the opening it decides to freeze. I’ve tried messing a bit with the retroarch emulator options to see if it would make it work but nothing seems to do the trick. I’d appreciate if someone can help me find an answer to my problem.
