pal sonic games on an ntsc console help

I recently picked up a master system (ntsc) and I want to get the sonic games that came out on it and most of what I can find is pal games, I know 2 and chaos only released in those regions but will 1, 2, and chaos run on an ntsc console, will there be the pal slowdown?
