50/60 hz mod

Ok so double checking my understanding. I'm using an Everdrive on an NA system on a CRT.
Games designed for Eu run too fast on NA systems because EU systems output at 50 hz and NA at 60 right?
Installing the 50/60 hz switch allows the games to run at the proper speed?
Assuming my understanding is correct, does anyone have any recommendations for people who do mods/repairs on Master System?
Basically I really want to play Power Strike II at the proper speed lol
On a related note, is it possible to add the fm chip to na systems and have a switch for it? I don't know that I'd always want the fm sound for games that support it, but it would be interesting to be able to switch between the two.
