3DS C-Stick PSP cap mod

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

3DS C-Stick PSP cap mod

I replaced the C-Stick on my 3ds with a PSP 1000 cap and the other day the cap popped off and now the C-Stick doesn't work at all. Any thing j can do to fix it myself?
