Anyone know who illistrate japanese megadrive game covers?

Cant seem to find much info and whether they were done by the studios making the game or sega themselves had a team of illistrators.
The arcade artworks are well documented but not the home console covers and usually they dont share the same artworks.
my favorite covers are super shinobi 2, bare knuckle 3, golden axe 1, strider. those are the kind of art work you will never see on other console game covers including the modern consoles. each of them are like a poster themselves.
