VA7 Model 1 Overclock Mod Question

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

VA7 Model 1 Overclock Mod Question

Has anyone done the overclock mod on a Model 1 VA7 Genesis console? I think some people done it, and it has the same processor as the model 2. I think it might be possible to find a clock trace to cut, so I don't have to lift a leg from the chip.
