HyloX Install question

I cannot get the MVSX to recognize my USB stick, at first I was using a cheap USB 2.0 stick from Amazon then I used a SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB and still no luck. I formated ex-fat for both sticks and I used the files from C T Jason's YouTube Link. My stick was set up with MVSXh and Update.img at the root. Am I missing somthing basic? I am on the Version 1.0 and did a factory reset and followed along with several YouTube guides. I even tried the Omega Hack and the way back machine files with no avail.
