SNES will only boot from USB after switching running firmware

Post by /classicSNESmini »

Tried to setup a dual boot on my snes classic. For some ungodly reason the console decided it was going to turn into a super famicom instead of add the launcher to the menu like normal
I’ve done a dual boot on my other console before and I don’t remember this ever happening
Anyways I dick around with it for like 45 minutes and no matter what I do the console boots as a famicom and will only boot as a famicom. Not sure what the **** is going on. Even hakchi thinks it’s a famicom
okay no problem I can probably just select SNES from the running firmware. I select it. All I see is the dual boot **** and Nand. I assume NAND would be the original so I select it
Console bricks
Big ****ing oops
No lights no anything. Will not turn on in any regard. Will not do Jack ****
I plug my USB into it and it boots off that
Wtf???
