Trying to get PC Engine-CD/TurboGrafx-16 CD games working, not much success, need help.

I'm using project eris and trying to get pc engine games working on the system; so far, i've had no luck. I've put the syscard3.pce BIOS in the retroarch folder, if that does any good, and tried through emulation station and retroarch so far. I can't tell if it's a problem with the emulator or the roms themselves, because they're note singular files. The one I've been trying with and wanting to play has a cue file and other things besides the disc image. I'm utterly confused, and if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
