Alpha Sapphire Problems

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Alpha Sapphire Problems

I decided to pick up my playthrough of Alpha Sapphire yesterday to get through more of the story. So I loaded it up, got to the area with Latios and Latias and it crashed, telling me to power the system on and off. I continue, save when I arrive, walk a few steps and the same thing happens. I go back, fight the battle against team aqua, get Latias, and start leveling up my Pokemon, and evolving my Marshtomp. The marshtomp goes through the evolution screen, it evolves giving me the message "Your Mudboi evolved into a Swapert!" and then it crashes. This has been happening seemingly at random, and hasn't happened with any of my other games, and only recently when I picked up the game. Can anyone tell me what is happening?
